Row to success

Sports

The first intercollegiate sporting event in the United States dates back to 1852 when the Harvard rowing team defeated Yale in a regatta held at Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. Since then, it has become a popular team sport that has attracted athletes of all skill levels, genders and backgrounds. It embodies an all-around full body workout with fewer chances of injuries than other team sports.

Something old, Something new

Home & Garden, Renovation321

Ever since I was a preteen growing up in South Florida in the 1960s, I have been fascinated by the space program. Aside from wanting to be an astronaut like many kids, I wished I lived close to the space center where I could watch the rocket launches first hand.

The purity of embracing the moment

When I was a senior in high school in 1977, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville came out that February, reaching No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Fast Track

Patriots’ Place

Driving through the tree-lined streets of Indian River Colony Club, it is impossible to miss the line of mailboxes: identical and perfectly aligned, as if standing at attention.
