Richard Kirpatrick, Mario Sequeira and Andrew Miner, effectively treat a wide range of skin conditions that include skin cancer, skin growths, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sun damage, acne and skin discoloration. Powerful, well-documented technology is the minimally invasive Mohs micrographic surgery for the removal of skin malignancies. This technology allows for thorough microscopic examination of the cancerous tissue to ascertain complete removal of cancerous tissue. Mohs surgery is considered the gold standard, with highest reported cure rate with skin cancers.
The SRT-100 superficial radiation therapy is a safe and painless way to treat non-melanoma skin cancers. This low-energy radiotherapy is a proven, non-invasive procedure to treat these cancers.
PDT, or Photodynamic Therapy, another technology available at Brevard Skin and Cancer Center, applies aminolevulinic acid (ALA) to skin, followed by exposure to a red or blue light to treat precancerous lesions such as actinic keratosis.
In the field of aesthetics, Brevard Skin and Cancer Center offers proven, safe dermal fillers, including Restylane® and Juvederm® to replace collagen lost in the aging process. Collagen is critical in maintaining smooth, young-looking skin.
Dysport® or Botox® have long been a go-to option to smooth and reduce wrinkles that result from smiling, squinting or frowning.
