VIERA
At the center of Brevard is the Space Coast’s
newest community, Viera, the term for
faith in Slovak, the native language of the
Duda family who developed the community,
considered among the top 20 planned
communities in the nation.
A day here easily reveals why so many are
attracted to Viera. Interstate 95 is minutes
away, so is a trip to Orlando and its theme
parks. The beaches are close by, too. Within
this vibrant community is The Avenue, the

been recognized as a leading institution
in top zoo lists and awards from the
Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Viera is also home to A-rated
schools and state-of-the-art medical
facilities such as Health First Viera
Hospital, the centerpiece of a 50-
acre integrated healthcare campus
that also includes Pro-Health and
Fitness Center and a multispecialty
physicians’ office complex.
In this area where golf carts are often
the preferred mode of transportation,
the award-winning Duran Golf Course
offers a challenging, memorable layout
