digitaldomain-01Fall is one of my favorite seasons mostly because of college football (Go Gators! Go Knights!), pumpkin spice lattes and fall fashion. Even though the weather outside is hot and humid, I can’t help but break out my boots when the temperature dips and paint my nails with the hottest fall colors.

This past month I came across some neat things, digitally of course.

club-w-wines_1370460142Currently obsessing over…Club W. I came across Club W on Instagram and was instantly hooked. It starts by learning your taste preferences with a series of questions to help make recommendations. After you complete your profile, you’re shown bottles of wine that should suit your preferences. For $39 a month, members have access to a curated selection and can choose up to three bottles to be shipped.

I’m looking forward to…the Arts and Algorithms Festival in downtown Titusville. This digital arts festival is a 10-day interactive festival that will introduce the world of digital art with custom 3D projection mapping, the international short film festival, international artists, digital artist galleries and hands-on interaction for all visitors. The festival takes place October 3 through 12.

I recently discoveredCalm.com. This is the ultimate digital relaxation tool. Whether you’re on the go or at your desk, some days you just need to take a few minutes to ease your mind. This Web site allows you to choose a nature scene, listen to peaceful music and set a timer if you’re in a hurry. Guided calm moments are available in 2 to 20 minute increments that will help guide you to relaxation. I have a feeling this will become my new favorite site.

Latest digital desire…The new iPhone 6. It’s better on so many levels including size, efficiency and photo taking abilities. I’m especially interested in the new health feature that is being released with iOS 8. According to Apple, the new Health app can put the heart rate, calories burned, blood sugar and cholesterol all in one place, “giving you a clear and current overview of your health.” I hope you all know what’s going on my Christmas list this year!

Viral Video Sensation….ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. If you’re on Facebook, you’ve probably seen tons of people dump buckets of ice water on their heads for ALS. As of August 29, the ALS Association had over $100 million in donation from this viral sensation. Pretty impressive, if you ask me. Now if only I can come up with something that cool for SpaceCoast Living to do.

I too participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Watch my video here!
