 JASON HOOK
The arts in all its forms thrives in Brevard
 County, home to galleries, performing
arts venues and even the Eau Gallie Arts
District, or EGAD, where galleries such
as Eau Gallery and the Fifth Avenue Art
 Gallery host monthly exhibitions.
There’s more with Downtown Gallery in
 Titusville, Strawbridge Art League’s Gallery
in Melbourne, Carolyn Seiler and Friends
Gallery in Cocoa Village and the Studios
 of Cocoa Beach.
The Maxwell C. King Center for the
Performing Arts offers a year-round slate
 of entertainment that includes Broadway
 touring companies, A-list performers and
 internationally known comedians. The
King Center is also home to the Space
 Coast Ballet, the Brevard Symphony
 Orchestra and jazz performances of
 Brevard Music Group.
Not far from the King Center, Holy Trinity
Episcopal Academy’s Scott Center for the
Performing Arts is venue of choice for the
 Space Coast Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to the two orchestras, Brevard
 boasts the Melbourne Community
 Orchestra, Melbourne Municipal Band,
the Space Coast Flute Orchestra, Central
 Florida Winds, Melbourne Chamber Music
Society, Space Coast Jazz Society and
the Community Band of Brevard. These
 organizations, along with the Indialantic
 Chamber Singers, Platinum Show Chorus
 and Brevard Community Chorus, offer
concerts throughout the year, and many
 are free.
Love bluegrass? Head to Titusville, where
 JTs Bluegrass attracts top performers
 in the genre.
As for community theaters, the Space
Coast is well represented with the
 Henegar Center and Melbourne Civic
 Theatre in Melbourne, Historic Cocoa
 Village Playhouse, Surfside Playhouse in
 Cocoa Beach and Titusville Playhouse.
Yes, the Space Coast has everything
 your arts desire.
