If you have ever spent time around a child with a severe illness or special needs, you know they possess incredible strength. SpaceCoast LIVING’s photographer, Jason Hook, highlights this strength through Operation Superhero.
Hook was inspired to start Operation Superhero by another artist in California, Josh Rossi. Operation Superhero works with organizations like the Holz Foundation to provide some incredible children the opportunity to see the hero within. Children like Ariana enjoy an afternoon dressed as their favorite superhero, striking poses in a full photo shoot. Hook then often spends several hours in Photoshop creating beautiful movie posters that are presented to the children. All free of charge.
