Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier opens new art gallery featuring local artist.

Visitors to the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier can now browse and purchase artwork from noted local painter Bruce Reigle at the Island Art Gallery inside the Pier’s Tropical Threads Boutique.

The gallery showcases Reigle’s artwork as well as the work of other local artists. Many of Reigle’s paintings are inspired by Space Coast icons such as the beach, shuttle launches and the Cocoa Beach Pier. Other pieces in the gallery include paintings, photography, sea glass jewelry, sculptures, bamboo frames, pottery and more. Guests can even catch Reigle working on new pieces at the gallery. Island Art Gallery was formerly located in the Merritt Square Mall.

“Relocating to the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier allows us to reach tourists as well as locals who enjoy and appreciate the Space Coast landscape,” Reigle said. The gallery is open at the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
