  1. BANQUET SIZE & ROOM SET-UP

Before choosing a reception venue, the first thing to consider is the number of guests. Do you plan on throwing a big bash with hundreds of guests, or will you only invite close friends and family? Whatever the case may be, Holiday Inn – Viera offers over 7,000 square-feet of banquet space, with nine rooms that can accommodate anywhere from 10 to700 people. That said, you can select to host your reception in a grand ballroom for large receptions, or a private room for more intimate receptions and rehearsal dinners.

No matter the size, it is extremely easy to book your event and overnight guest rooms at Holiday Inn – Viera. And our location adjacent to Interstate 95 makes it effortless for out-of-town guests to visit area beaches and other attractions while visiting the Space Coast.

Our experience in weddings and being at the same location for an extensive period of time helps us create the perfect unique wedding. After meeting with the bride and groom, we can really understand the needs of our clients and customize a wedding to their needs.

Once the reception venue is selected and the room is arranged to your liking, the next thing to consider is how to impress your guests with stunning surroundings and fun entertainment.

Our wedding consultants work individually with each guest, discussing their wedding wishes and helping to ensure that every detail of the reception is handled. Our team is happy to offer expert advice on colors, fabrics, centerpieces, lighting and more.

We work with only the best of vendors that we can suggest to you as well, including local DJs and photographers. We can do it all in-house as a package, or simply offer you suggestions.

  1. CATERING

And what’s a wedding reception without fine food and beverages offered to guests? Catering oftentimes involves decisions on the type of bar services to offer to guests, as well as hors d’oeuvres selections and whether guests will enjoy a plated dinner or a buffet.

When it comes to pre-dinner selections, Holiday Inn – Viera offers full bar service, as well as packages that include items like chicken sate with peanut sauce, bacon-wrapped scallops and crab-stuffed mushroom caps.

If your reception has 30 or more guests, you may choose to offer guests a plated dinner with exquisite entrées including items such as Steak au Poivre, Chicken Champagne, Prime Rib au jus and Baked Salmon, among others. Receptions with at least 50 guests, meanwhile, are also given the option of a buffet, which includes a variety of salads, entrées including Chicken Marsala and Seafood Newberg, a Roast-Top Round of Beef carving station and plentiful side accompaniments as well.
