Zonta Club Named Volunteer of the Year

The Salvation Army Melbourne Corps honored the Zonta Club of Melbourne as the Volunteer of the Year at its annual volunteer appreciation luncheon. The Zonta Club was recognized for its work with the Sue M. Pridmore Center for Homeless Women and Children.  The Club provides monthly classes, bi-monthly nutrition classes, clothing, shoes, jewelry and counseling on re-entering the work force, computers for school work and research, a library of research and support materials and a graduation package for residents.
