The Indialantic Chamber Singers will present My Song in the Night: Songs of Simple Faith on June 17 & 19.  The summer concert by Brevard’s premier choral ensemble will feature American folk hymns, spirituals and folks songs under the direction of Kyle Jones. The first performance will take place at 7:30 PM on Friday evening, June 17th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera, 5655 Stadium Parkway, 32940.  The second concert will be held Sunday, June 19th at 3:00 PM at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 106 North Riverside Drive in Indialantic, 32903.  Jones, who arranged several of the works, will lead the Chamber Singers in such uplifting pieces as “Steal Away,” “Were You There?,” “Old Time Religion” and “Shenandoah,” as well as a collection of American folk hymns arranged by Mormon Tabernacle Choir Director, Mack Wilberg.  In addition to the ensemble of auditioned singers and several featured soloists, Heather Landers will perform on clarinet along with Kathleen Audet on flute.  The concert is free of charge, with a $5 suggested donation.  For more information about My Song in the Night: Songs of Simple Faith or the performing season for the Indialantic Chamber Singers, visit www.IndialanticChamberSingers.org or call (321) 426-0360.

“These are songs and hymns that many of us grew up singing,” said Spadafora.  “The music is beautiful and timeless, with a message of faith and devotion in every line.”
