On March 22, 2014, the City of Rockledge celebrated the grand opening of the Barks and Recreation Dog Park, located at Robert A. Anderson Stormwater Park, 1220 Pluckebaum Road. The park, which offers two separate areas for small dogs (under 30 pounds) and large dogs, is fenced and has water and benches available, as well as plenty of room for your furry friends to roam and play. The Rockledge ROC (Recreation, Open Space and Conservation) Foundation spearheaded the cause in collaboration with Dr. Greg Shinn of the Rockledge Animal Clinic.
