Port Canaveral has so much to offer that your next vacation plans should include a cruise from our home port.

Carnival Cruise Lines will homeport a third year-round “Fun Ship” at Port Canaveral. Starting November 7, the 2,052-passenger Carnival Ecstasy will depart Thursdays on 4-day ‘long weekend’ cruises visiting Nassau and Half Moon Cay or Freeport. Five-day cruises will depart Mondays and Saturdays and stop at Nassau, Freeport and Half Moon Cay or Key West.

On the Carnival Ecstasy’s new schedule, two different four-day itineraries will be offered, along with two different five-day itineraries.

With Carnival Ecstasy’s new four- and five-day schedule, combined with year-round three- and four-day Bahamas cruises aboard Carnival Sensation and seven-day eastern and western Caribbean voyages on Carnival Dream, the line will offer an unprecedented array of cruise lengths and itineraries from Port Canaveral. Carnival will be carrying approximately 600,000 guests annually from Brevard, its largest presence at any U.S. port.

The new Cove Marketplace is open for shopping! The “open-air” village-style marketplace is located in the Cove across from Rusty’s and Milliken’s Reef restaurants. The goal is to establish a weekly venue at the Port for local artisans and businesses to sell their products to visitors and cruise line passengers, giving them a unique experience. The Cove Marketplace is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Located at the corner of Glen Cheek and Dave Nisbet Drive, the Cove Marketplace is right across the street from the popular waterfront restaurants, and is now open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The open-air destination is a perfect place to find unique local products and works of art for sale.

Thirteen local hotels participate in the “Snooze and Cruise” program that offers free parking and a complimentary shuttle to and from your Port Canaveral cruise, making your vacation even more relaxing. Visit www.space-coast.com to see participating hotels.
