Space Coast Symphony kicks off 2016-17 season with concert of showstoppers

The Bright Lights of Broadway will dazzle Suntree concert-goers when the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra salutes the biggest shows from the “Great White Way” at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 18 at the Scott Center for the Performing Arts at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy (5625 Holy Trinity Drive in north Melbourne, 32940). Led by conductor Aaron T. Collins, the SCSO will kick off its 2016-17 season with hit after hit from Broadway’s storied past and present, featuring show tunes from South Pacific, Phantom of the Opera, Showboat, Mamma Mia, Fiddler on the Roof, Wicked, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar and more. $20 advance tickets are available through the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at several convenient ticket outlets, including Ace Hardware stores in Indialantic and Cocoa Beach, Blue Sky Insurance in Cocoa Village, Tropical Realty of Suntree, Art Expressions in downtown Eau Gallie, Atlantic Strings in Melbourne, A Floral Affair in Merritt Island, Brass & Reed Music Store in Merritt Island, La Moda Boutique in Satellite Beach and Brevard Florist in Palm Bay.
