With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, the scramble to select the perfect brunch location is upon us. Whether looking to treat mom to an upscale brunch or searching for a more family-friendly affair, Brevard County is home to a diverse set of brunch options that will most definitely meet and exceed expectations.

Pizza Gallery & Grill, located at The Avenue Viera, is offering their annual Moms Matter Mother’s Day Brunch. The event will be an expanded version of their weekly Champagne Sunday Brunch, which offers a wide selection of foods from traditional fare (e.g., eggs, bacon, sausage) to an ever changing variety of more upscale food such as salmon, pasta and various salads. In addition, a percentage of the brunch sales will be donated to Pregnancy Resources, which serves local families in need. Pizza Gallery will no doubt have something for everyone in the family, and the fun atmosphere makes it great for a family affair.

Another popular Viera brunch spot is Tradewinds at the Duran Golf Clubin Viera. The restaurant serves plenty of traditional breakfast fare, with a menu that includes build-your-own omelets, pancakes, breakfast burritos, French toast and more. If you are looking for a simple, standard breakfast that is bound to please, Tradewinds is the place to go. Reservations are recommended due to high demand.

The Space Coast has plenty of great brunch options outside of Viera as well. The Fat Snook, located in south Cocoa Beach, is a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys a flavorful beachside brunch. Offerings include scratch-made cheesecake, Nutella-stuffed French toast, spiny lobster tacos, pumpkin cheddar grits, a Monte Cristo sandwich (served on a glazed donut), and Mexican street corn deviled eggs. In addition to the delicious food, plenty of cocktails are served — all made from scratch and with fresh juices. The restaurant has a fun, whimsical atmosphere and mom (plus the whole family) are bound to enjoy themselves. Brunch hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and reservations can be made at 321-784-1190.
It’s pretty clear that Brevard County is home to many diverse brunch options that are bound to please. Upscale affair or traditional brunch, the Space Coast has something for each and every family.

Yet another great Brevard brunch spot is Crush XI, located in downtown Melbourne. They serve a variety of upscale, homemade options, including Lake Meadows Farm duck egg quiche, tropical carrot cake pancake, crab cakes Benedict, and cave blue cheese and walnut scones. The restaurant also prides itself on its many fun, homemade cocktails, including their signature mimosa and a pineapple vanilla sage sangria. The whole family will love the array of offerings, as well as the bright, eclectic atmosphere. Brunch hours are 11a.m. to 8 p.m. and reservations are highly recommended.
If searching for a combination of great views and great food, look no further than River Rocks, which is off US-1 north of the Pineda Causeway. A Mother’s Day brunch buffet will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in addition to typical menu offerings outside at the Dock restaurant, which will be open all day, as well as a limited menu inside during the evening. The brunch menu will include seafood, carved meats, fresh salads, omelets made to order, and plenty of desserts. Beautiful views of the river, in addition to delicious food, make River Rocks a winning location for brunch. Reservations are highly recommended for the occasion.
