While the focus of standard care is to treat patients after the onset of illness, concierge or personalized care focuses on keeping patients healthy and out of the hospital.

Dr. Frances Capraro is a board certified family physician that engages her patients in a preventive care program to achieve maximum health and quality of life. In order for her patients to achieve the best possible result, Dr. Capraro maximizes the amount of quality time spent with each patient.

Dr. Capraro attended the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and served her residency in family practice through the University of North Carolina at Mountain Area Family Health in Asheville, N.C.

She began practicing family medicine in Weaverville, N.C. in 1994 at Weaverville Family Medicine Associates and has served as a preceptor in family medicine and as an ACLS instructor. From 1997 to 2003, Dr. Capraro was a staff physician at Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care and Mercy Family Care. In 2003, she became employed with Omni Healthcare and worked at their facilities through 2007. Her final stop prior to opening her own practice was Sebastian Family Walk In from 2007.

In 2011, her patients voted her the Patients Choice Award for Top Physicians in Florida. She serves as a preceptor in family medicine and community health for medical students from the University of Florida College of Medicine, her alma mater, teaching and guiding them in her office to be better prepared for the outpatient setting.
