Fat Snook provides fresh, locally sourced food for the Space Coast.
Fat Snook is a casual, seafood-centric restaurant in Cocoa Beach. Its doors have been open since 2007, and the restaurant can be described as a scratch kitchen with a Caribbean vibe – a perfect addition to our infamous beaches.
Owner, Mona Foy, prides herself on a kitchen full of the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Foy is also dedicated to supporting local vendors and sources ingredients from vendors such as Garden Path, Outpost, Wahoo Coffee Co., among others. Each dish is thoughtfully and artistically created and plated with care to bring delicious flavor to guests. You can also taste wine and local beer or try their seasonal over-the-top Sunday brunch with a morning cocktail. (You can learn more about Fat Snook’s brunch from our May issue!)
The entire menu is a must-have feast but if you must choose, try the fresh catch entrees: scallops and grilled oysters. The oysters are served with habanero butter, cilantro and grilled limes. Or take a bite out the Bombay seafood pie and taste a little of everything with smoked Mahi, scallops and shrimp, coconut turmeric bechamel, toasted spice mashed red bliss potatoes and mango chutney.
You are sure to be greeted with a smile from the wonderful staff at Fat Snook and extra cared for during your dining experience. The ambiance is fun, from the living plant life wall to the shark wall. This place is perfect for families and for date night.
