Rockledge, FL-August 23, 2018—Echerd Hospitality inc. is proud to announce the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the recently renovated Palmer Inn and Tennis Club, and newly opened First City Café. The public is invited to tour the facility and meet the staff at 3220 S Fiske Blvd in Rockledge on August 28, 2018 between 10am and 11:30am, with the ribbon-cutting at 10:30am
“We couldn’t be more proud of how this project has turned out. Breathing some new life into this property has been quite the task.” said Trevor Echerd, CEO of Echerd Hospitality. “The ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Palmer Inn and Tennis Club, and First City Café marks the launch of a new era for this property and the community.”
The City of Rockledge and The Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce are facilitating the ribbon-cutting ceremony. City and Chamber representatives will assist in congratulating company owners and staff on this turn around project. The year long conversion of the former Swiss Inn and Tennis Center to The Palmer Inn and Tennis Club has led to a renovated hotel, a USTA certified tennis club with 3 staff pros, and the addition of the fresh and unique First City Café offering a selection of homemade soups, salads and sandwiches.
Mr. Echerd notes, “We’re delighted to invite the public to see how much we’ve done to improve this property. The Palmer, as we like to call it, is now the only full service boutique tennis resort in the State of Florida. The work and dedication that’s gone into the inn, the tennis club and now the café has been much needed. The hotel has been upgraded with all new rooms, a new look and a new name. The USTA designated tennis facility has received much needed drainage upgrades, rocked paths, and a slew of other improvements. Factor in the addition of the “Coastal Farmhouse” concept café into the old lobby space and the property now has the full service piece it was missing.”
