When Sarah Theiler was admitted to the Birthing Care Center at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center, she wasn’t prepared to get VIP treatment. It was a pleasant surprise during her stay, where she gave birth to daughter Logan Olivia.
“The whole experience at the Birthing Care Center was amazing – from the bedside manners of the doctors, nurses and other associates, to the little details that made my stay there extra special,” Theiler said.
“I never imagined feeling pampered at a hospital, but the care Logan and I received was beyond what I ever expected.”
Health First Women & Children, which includes the Birthing Care Centers at Holmes Regional and Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital, has introduced Special Delivery, a new program for women who deliver at the two hospitals. Each mom is provided with a deluxe welcome basket and a custom 8-by-10-inch photo of their newborn.
The Birthing Care Centers offer private rooms with beautiful views – with a warm and cozy touch that incorporates all the comforts of home. And, of course, the high-quality medical care to support moms and babies through labor, delivery and recovery. Moms also are treated to a gourmet meal, in-room guest accommodations, lactation support, a snack menu and more.
For Holmes Regional patients, having Brevard’s only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on-site can be especially reassuring.
Tours of the Birthing Care Centers are offered on a regular basis. To register, visit hf.org/womenandchildren.
