38, Indialantic. Stay-at-home Mom. Married to Chris Heinze, mother of Alexandra, 6.
Although Jessaca Heinze and her husband, Chris, just moved here from Phoenix, Arizona three years ago, they’ve fallen in love with the Space Coast and all it has to offer. “We’re used to the heat from Arizona, but to live near the ocean… it’s just so beautiful here,” said Heinze.Being able to stay home and volunteer at her daughter Alexandra’s school is also a dream come true. “My own mother was a stay-at-home mom. It’s a blessing to be able to stay home with my daughter and be present for everything.”She also tries to live by her mother’s advice: “Wear your mother crown proudly.” In other words, “value what you’re doing as a mom, just like a queen would.” Heinze explained, “Being a mom is an important job. I am a stay-at-home mom with a college education so that saying does give me confidence in feeling value in my choice.”
With no family in the area, the Heinzes have formed strong bonds through the Catholic school community. “I love volunteering… because I get to be around the teachers and staff and the principal at school. I feel like I have a great rapport with them. In volunteering, you have a stronger relationship ,you have an extended family.”
