The Harry and Mary Witte Learning Center has been named for Rockledge Gardens founders who built Rockledge Gardens on the core values of family, community, and the beauty of nature. The Wittes especially prized knowledge and education and their daughter, current Rockledge Gardens owner, Theresa Riley, along with her husband Kevin, are caring on their legacy with this new space. Harry died in 1998 and Mary is retired and currently living with Theresa in Rockledge.

The Harry and Mary Witte Learning Center will allow the garden center to expand its offerings to cooking and dance classes and other special events. The pavilion and gardens will also be available for the community to use as a place to relax with a picnic or a good book and will be available to rent for private evens such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and fundraisers.
