bortz

With more than 14 years of medical experience, Dr. Bortz is renowned as an extraordinary healer, educator and motivator. An established leader in injury treatment, Dr. Bortz’s clinical proficiency and personal, caring touch put the Neurogenx NerveCenter of Rockledge at the forefront of neuropathy care.
Dr. Bortz received his chiropractic doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the leading institution where Chiropractic Medicine has its origins over 100 years ago. In addition, Dr. Bortz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and is a member of both the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) and Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS).
Committed to promoting the health and well-being of his patients, Dr. Bortz is passionate about what he calls the “whole person approach” to medicine.  This approach to wellness means carefully seeking the underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and making the appropriate interventions and lifestyle adjustments to optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Bortz is able to help his patients accelerate and/or maintain their journey to good health.
Neurogenx NerveCenter of Rockledge offers a new, safe and effective treatment for patients who suffer from most forms of chronic pain. “As the second NerveCenter in the state of Florida to offer this cutting-edge treatment, we are committed to providing effective pain relief and restoring overall nerve health,” says Dr. Bortz.
The clinicians at the NerveCenter have helped hundreds of patients find life-altering relief with the Neurogenx treatment protocols. The medical staff, including neurologist, Dr. Alex D’Cruz, MD and Nurse Practitioner, Nicole Wittfeldt, NP-C has found it extremely gratifying to witness patients who had been completely dependent upon prescription medications, finally find relief without the need to live with the sometimes debilitating side effects that came with prescription medications. Many patients discontinue the use of their canes or walkers, begin to experience deeper and more restful sleep, or even begin exercise routines upon completion of their prescribed protocol. Overall, the NerveCenter staff simply loves to witness patients recover their lives, as they gain more and more freedom from their symptoms.
