Space Coast students and teachers demonstrate their musical excellence
Did you know that, since 2005, Brevard County schools have dominated the selection of Music Demonstration Schools?
The statewide project identifies, recognizes and promotes music programs that “balance diversity, high performance standards and instructional quality in music education”. Representatives from the Florida Department of Education visit and evaluate all applicants before approving the schools based on criteria established by the National Association for Music Education and the Florida Music Educators’ Association. Selected schools commit to a three-year term during which they agree to “assist school officials, teachers and other interested persons in observing quality programs and obtaining information for program improvement.”
