This class will help to make your joint replacement surgery experience the best it can be. Meet the members of your healthcare team before you go into the hospital, and have questions like these answered:
– What should I bring to the hospital with me?
– Why can’t I have anything to eat or drink the night
before surgery?
– How soon after surgery am I able to get out of bed?
– Will I have much pain after surgery? How will it be managed?
– Where will I go after I leave the hospital?
– Will I have any tubes or drains after surgery? Why?
– How do I prepare my home for my return?
Pre-registration to attend class is required. You are encouraged to bring one person to class with you who will be assisting you after your surgery.
