Q: How long have you lived on the Space Coast?
A: Since July of 2010
Q: What do you love about the Space Coast?
A: Literally everything. The beautiful surroundings, low cost of living, delicious restaurants, laid-back lifestyle, lack of traffic and our friendly and safe community.
Q: What do you enjoy the most about your position?
A: Getting to know all of our different partners. It amazes me every day to learn the stories behind our local companies and the work that has gone in to making them what they are today. It’s inspiring and impactful!
Q: What’s something that people would be surprised to learn about you?
A: I have participated in the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, Spain twice (the Running of the Bulls Festival) and my uncle and father have been running with the bulls since 1986 and 1993 respectively.
Q: What do you like to do to unwind and recharge?
A: I love to spend time with my husband, my friends, watch good movies (I’m a huge movie buff), go for a run or pump some iron and take in our beautiful beaches. With that being said, there is really nothing better than a chilled, bubbly glass of Brut champagne.
Q: As a millennial currently at the helm of one of our county’s chambers, what vision do you have for the future of our area?
A: “Millennial” is a buzzword right now and we are here to stay. We are approaching 50 percent of the workforce and with over 80 million of us in the U.S. alone, all communities should make this group a focus. My personal vision for our area is to attract this hard working group of professionals to our neighborhoods which will not only fill the talent pipeline, but overall I feel it will elevate every aspect of our community whether it’s creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, diversity, economic impact and much, much more. This is part of the reason why I started the Cocoa Beach Regional Young Professionals Group, and I hope to become a small part of bridging the gap amongst all generations represented in our area.
