CRI – A local firm with National Firm Expertise

Carr Riggs & Ingram staff and office buildingIn the accounting and financial advising world, full-service firms with the breadth and depth of expertise to resolve the most complex financial issues facing individuals and businesses are challenging to find. A firm that has earned the honor of being listed among the top 25 in the country by Accounting Today yet remains rooted in its community is even rarer, but Carr Riggs & Ingram, or CRI, checks all the above boxes — and more — for clients in Brevard.

“We have all the resources of a national firm, but we have the local touch,” said partner-in-charge Debbie Goode. “Clients come to us for the full solution.”

Located in the heart of Brevard at 215 Baytree Drive in Viera, Carr Riggs & Ingram boasts a staff of 67 professionals driven by integrity, impeccable client service, and dedication to the community.

“We focus on great client support,” Goode adds.

The local office is part of a firm that serves more than 100,000 clients in all 50 of the United States, plus Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and military installations overseas. In the 25 years since its launch in 1997, CRI has experienced consistent growth yet remains committed to its founding values of service, respect and integrity.

CRI combines functions like auditing, tax planning, business consulting, forensic accounting, and more. Its goal is to offer various services that address all aspects of a client’s personal and professional wealth. Throughout their 25-year evolution, they’ve expanded by incorporating a broad range of portfolios, helping make up the CRI Family of Companies. From SOC reports, data analytics products, investment banking, retirement administration services, and business consulting to wealth management, payroll management, and trust and estate services, the CRI Family of Companies really is a “one-stop-shop” for your evolving personal and professional needs.

CRI Capital Advisors, for example, provides representation for our clients who are considering a partial or complete sale of their business, who are looking to develop an exit strategy, and even those who are just looking for a market assessment for their business. They work with the rest of the CRI Family of Companies to maximize service provision for each client and meet their specific needs in large and complex transactions.

“They really complement our services,” says Goode.

The firm has extensive industry experience in captive insurance, commercial real estate, construction, financial institutions, government, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, and the nonprofit sector.

At the heart of Carr Riggs & Ingram’s success is a team with experience, expertise, and dedication to serving, both in the office and the community.

“We encourage our people to get involved,” Goode says.

With more than 35 years in the field, Goode leads by example. She chaired the board of the United Way of Brevard in 2021/2022 and has served on the charity’s Campaign Cabinet, the board of directors for CivMil, and the executive committee and board of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast.

In 2009, she founded the Government Contracting Advisory Team, a network of independent service providers for government contractors. Through GCAT, clients in the government contracting field can rapidly access a spectrum of industry-specific services.

Goode’s team at CRI also has decades of experience and specialization in specific industries’ financial and accounting needs. The invaluable experience of these professionals, combined with the wide-ranging resources of CRI’s national scale, make for a winning combination for clients, whatever their industry sector.

“We bring the best to our clients,” Goode says.
