Summer is traditionally a hard time for many families who count on the free and reduced meals that their children receive during the school year to provide their primary source of nourishment. At the South Brevard Sharing Center, this raises the demand for food and other items. At the same time, summer has traditionally been a lean time for the donations that allow the SBSC to continue to serve people in need.
A Night In Casablanca fundraiser on May 9 plans to close this gap by raising money to support the children in need in the community.
Guests will try their luck at blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker Texas hold’em tables and are encouraged to wear Casablanca style attire. First timer? Professional dealers will be there to show guests the ropes.
$100 Texas Hold’em Tournament
