Start here. Go anywhere. Inside Holy Trinity’s approach to preparing future leaders

For nearly 70 years, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has embraced a simple but powerful idea: Start Here. Go Anywhere. It reflects a commitment to preparing students not just for college, but for lives of purpose, leadership and service in an ever-changing world.

That preparation begins long before graduation. From the earliest grades through high school, Holy Trinity students are immersed in a learning environment that blends strong academics with intentional character formation. Emphasis is placed on integrity, responsibility and empathy — values that are reinforced through daily classroom experiences, leadership opportunities, and a culture that encourages students to think beyond themselves.

As students move through the school, that foundation expands into real-world readiness. Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and resilience are woven into coursework and extracurricular experiences. Teachers work to ensure students are not only academically prepared for college but also equipped with the confidence and adaptability needed to lead in their chosen paths.

The results of this approach are reflected in Holy Trinity graduates who pursue a wide range of disciplines and careers bringing with them a shared sense of purpose and preparation.

For Dr. Castellon and his wife Jamie, that mission has been experienced over many years. Having had six children attend Holy Trinity over more than a decade, they have seen the school’s impact span multiple stages of development — from kindergarten beginnings to high school graduation. Their children have gone on to pursue paths in fields such as nursing, engineering and collegiate sports, while crediting both their academic preparation and the mentorship they received along the way.

Their story reflects a broader theme within the Holy Trinity community: students are known, supported and challenged at every stage. Whether through classroom instruction, athletic programs, or personal mentorship, the goal remains consistent — helping each student discover their strengths and use them with confidence.

As another graduating class steps forward, that mission continues to guide the school’s work. And while each student’s journey is unique, they leave with a shared foundation rooted in character, skill, and the belief that where they begin does not define where they can go.
