The Brevard Zoo invites central Florida residents to take advantage of a $5 admission day into the zoo on Friday, August 15 to enjoy one final wild adventure before summer ends and the kids go back to school the following week at many public school systems in Brevard County and surrounding counties. The $5 day applies to zoo admission only and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

Since Butterfly Wings and Enchanted Things, sponsored by Bright House Networks, just came to a close in early August, those who take advantage of the $5 day will still be able to see some of the butterflies flying in the Australasia aviary with turacos as well as enjoy the artwork, mystical creatures, and play activity for the kids. Guests can also see the newest babies out on exhibit, splash around in the Paws On play area and for an additional charge feed a gentle giraffe and kayak the Nyami Nyami River.  For more information, please visit BrevardZoo.org and click on events.
