Kids Can Discover Art This Summer Saturdays

Kids can discover local art at The Downtown Art Gallery 

Summer’s here and school is out. Parents, if you’re looking for a fun field trip with the kids, check out the Downtown Art Gallery, 400 Orange Street in downtown Titusville. 

The gallery hosts the work of 20 local artists, everything from painting and photography to baskets, jewelry and pottery. The staff would love to introduce your kids to art, explain the different techniques that the artists have used, and answer any questions. Plus it’s inside where it’s cool!

Brevard resident Gerald White enjoyed his visit and says, “Exposing my daughters to art and culture is about enriching their minds and broadening their horizons. I hope to inspire them to always see the world with compassion and creativity. “

While you’re there we can also point out other fun things to do in the downtown area. The Gallery is open Monday to Friday 11 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm ,EXCEPT for reduced Summer hours in July when they are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm.
