Casey Runte, PA, graduated from University
of Florida with a B.S. in Applied Physiology
and Kinesiology and then attended
Barry University’s Physician Assistant
Program in Miami, where he developed an
interest in surgery. “My passion for Sports
Medicine and my experience in exercise
science inspired me to pursue a career in
Orthopedics. As a PA, I like developing
that strong patient-provider relationship
and taking the time to develop treatment

Meet Dr. David Dominguez
Dr. David Dominguez attended University of
Florida where he walked on to the UF Football
team and graduated with honors. He then
attended Duke University School of Medicine
where he participated in research, publishing in
the prestigious Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
He completed his orthopaedic residency at Texas
A&M University, and after a brief period of
serving our community as an orthopaedic trauma
doctor at Holmes Regional, Dr. Dominguez
decided to pursue his passion for Sports Medicine.
He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship
at the world-renowned Sports Orthopaedic and
Rehabilitation Medicine Associates (SOAR) where
he served as a team physician for several Division
1 universities and professional teams.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Mark Davis
3D Sports Medicine welcomes their newest doctor,
Dr. Mark Davis is a Board Certified and Fellowship
Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Davis obtained his
medical education from the University of Iowa
College of Medicine. His Orthopedic Residency
was completed at West Virginia University/Ruby
Memorial Hospital and his Total Joint Fellowship was
completed at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research
Institute in Washington, DC.
Davis says, “I started teaching minimally invasive
surgical techniques in 2001, and in 2004 I was one
of thirteen nationally to attend Oxford University
in England. There I was trained as an advanced
instructor for the Oxford Partial Knee, a partial knee
replacement that is less invasive compared to total
knee replacement.” Davis continues to train other
surgeons on this technique. In 2010, Dr. Davis was
the Course Co-Chair for the European Launch of
the “Signature Custom Total Knee” in Amsterdam.
Dr. Davis specializes in adult reconstruction and
joint replacement, focusing on a variety of surgical
techniques including arthroscopic knee surgery,
minimally invasive Oxford partial knee, Robotic
knee replacements, as well as total replacement of
the hip and knee. His warm and engaging manner
makes him a perfect fit for 3D Sports Medicine &
