After breaking ground in Spring 2021, the final phases of construction
are underway and soon the permanent home of East Coast
Christian Center Viera will open. After first launching in 2012 at
the Rave movie theater and eventually shifting to meet at Viera High
School, the new building sits at 3475 Viera Blvd., across from Manatee
Elementary School.
While the building is new to Viera, East Coast Christian Center has
over thirty years of roots in Brevard County. With multiple campuses
in Merritt Island, one in Cocoa, Viera and an online church, East Coast
Christian Center is a non-denominational Christian church that includes
a diverse and multi-generational congregation. The church is led by
Pastors Matt and Jessica Stallbaum.
To East Coast Christian Center, the building project is not just about
another building in the ever-growing Viera community. The church is focused
on building a life-giving church that lasts. “To us, this means that
we’re not just building a building, we’re investing in people and relationships
because that’s what God values most. When you invest in people,
the impact echoes for generations to come,” says Matt Stallbaum.

The Viera campus is approximately a 22,000–square–foot church
with seating for about 600 people. There will be dedicated spaces for
children and teens, a coffee bar, gatherings, events and more. The
church plans to eventually add a pre-school to the new site as well.
“We’ll have free Grand Opening events when the Viera campus is
officially open, and everyone is invited to come join us as we further
our roots in Viera through this new building,” reports Christian Hurston,
Associate Pastor and Project Manager of the Viera Building.
Active in the local community, across Brevard, in Florida, and even
worldwide, East Coast Christian Center offers a life-giving environment,
while enriching the lives of its congregation through community and
giving everyone a place to belong.
In the last decade, their food pantry has given away nearly 5 million
pounds of food to local families in need, while also partnering with
global ministries like World Compassion and Convoy of Hope to meet
urgent needs of people worldwide. And there’s more: local events,
community and fellowship groups, programs specifically for teens,
young adults, business leaders, and senior citizens are just a few of the
ways that East Coast Christian Center brings hope
through the love of Jesus to all people.
