Stephanie and Jamie Dandridge: Like Mother, Like Son

It’s not surprising that luxury real estate expert Stephanie Moss Dandridge has been trusted with some of the most exclusive properties in the area, for Dandridge has real estate in her blood. Her father, Joel Moss, was responsible for the development of many highly regarded communities such as Lansing Island, 460 Country and Deer Run. Now a third generation, Stephanie’s son, Jamie, is ready to follow the family tradition.

“People always tell me Jamie is the spitting image of his grandfather,” Stephanie said.

Jamie looks like his grandfather, and he also inherited his mother’s passion for real estate. A 2024 graduate from Auburn University, Jamie never wavered from a career in real estate.

“I got hooked very early on,” he said. “I tailored my degree for the industry. When I graduated, I enrolled in a real estate course the next day. I hit the road running.”

Early sales point to a very successful future for Jamie, who sold a $3.3 million residence on Tropical Trail and a $3.5 Riverside Drive home (off market, no less) in less than six months after graduation.

The Brevard County real estate wunderkind has joined his mother’s team of real estate professionals at her Melbourne Beach office of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.

“It is an exciting time for real estate on the Space Coast,” he said. “We have a huge influx of individuals who want to move here.”

His mom has set an extremely high bar, but Jamie is up for the challenge of reaching Stephanie’s elite status. He admits he still has a way to go, considering his mother was the agent responsible for the sale of storied properties such as Hacienda del Sol (which Stephanie sold not once, but twice!), the Indialantic storybook chateau that was once home to Harris Corporation chairman/CEO Phillip Farmer and his wife, Jeanne, and the Dean estate, at $9 million the highest residential real estate transaction in Brevard to this day. Colleagues joke that S. Tropical Trail should be renamed Dandridge Trail, since Stephanie has sold so many properties in that elite Merritt Island neighborhood.

Jamie has certainly inherited the right work ethic, for like Stephanie, he is laser-focused on his clients, regardless of the price range of the property.

“We never say no to a client, and we will gladly market everything from a multi-million-dollar waterfront home to a $6,000 parcel of land in Mims,” Stephanie said.

The county where he was born and grew up holds a bright future for Jamie.

“I can’t believe the price per square foot for property that we still have here,” he said. “These properties would go for twice as much on the West Coast of Florida and five times that in South Florida. There is so much opportunity.”
