MetaFest Fall 2023
MetaFest Fall 2023 is the 5th table-top vendor fundraiser held by bUneke (be unique), a 501c3 educational organization based out of Merritt Island, FL since October 2022. bUneke holds this free public event every four months inside Merritt Square Mall, located at 777 E. Merritt Island CSWY, Merritt Island as a way to introduce the community to local small businesses and charities. This free, multi-generational, all-inclusive, family-friendly event takes place on Small Business Saturday, November 25, and brings together almost three dozen entrepreneurs, authors, artists, musicians, and practitioners for one full day of entertainment, education, and shopping. Vendors and volunteers come from as far away as Tampa, Lake Mary, Daytona, and Jupiter.
Some vendors who have reserved their spaces months in advance will be selling indoor plants, aromatherapy, jewelry, psychics, reiki, skincare, and cupcakes. In addition to raffles and demonstrations, the MetaFest stage will include musicians like Ellen Onieal, the popular lead singer of Phoenix Band. Children will find free activities and take-home crafts. Parents can enter to participate in free drawings that include some gifts valued at $250.
