“It Takes a village” Historic & Science Cruise

Sailing from Cocoa Village Marina 10:00 am on designated mornings. This tour features onboard audio commentary featuring stories about the quaint history of the first settlers who arrived the City of Cocoa in 1860. You will also discover the wonder of how this small community became Florida’s Space Coast.

During this specular journey passengers will be able to see the historic estates that line the river’s edge. As you travel along the intro-coastal waterway (ICW) and the Indian River Lagoon.

The Indian River Lagoon is North America’s most diverse estuary, with more than 2100 species of plants and 2200 animals. It is home to herds of manatees, flocks of birds and playful dolphins. The Queen’s coffee & ice cream shop will be open on the 2nd deck during your tour. This tour is an awesome way to begin any visit to Cocoa Village.

The historic narration and vintage photos which highlight stories, history & culture of Historic Cocoa Village and Florida’s Space Coast will be featured in the Queen’s room. Passengers will also be able to roam about the ship to enjoy the views from all three decks.

Following your cruise be sure to take home some souvenirs from one of many gift shops or grab a bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants in Cocoa Village.

Cost: $35 pp. Tour time: 10:00-11:00 am (Boarding begins at 9:30) Boarding location: Cocoa Village Marina 90 Delannoy Ave. Cocoa Fl 32920 Onsite parking only available on Saturday & Sunday. No onsite parking Monday – Friday 9-4:00 pm.

All passengers & crew must park in Cocoa Village and stroll over to the marina to board. There is plenty of parking in Cocoa Village and by the Tin Whiskey Restaurant in the mornings.
