It is commonly said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If this is true then a trip to Keke’s Breakfast Café in Melbourne will surely start the day off right.
“Everybody loves breakfast and in today’s busy world it is often difficult to find time to enjoy,” owner Becky Matteson said. “Breakfast is a great way to energize your day with great tasting, healthy meals.”
Favorites on the menu include the massive omelets and pancakes. One pancake is enough for a meal — light, fluffy but filling. There are also plenty of ways to customize your order including creating your combo and omelet selections. Side items like home fries are a stand out and the breakfast salad made with yogurt, granola, honey and fruit is a perfect choice for those searching for a lighter meal.
For those who are not health conscious, there are indulgences such as chocolate chip waffles or pancakes and stuffed French toast with banana, pecans and caramel. But the options do not end with breakfast. Keke’s menu also includes lunch choices including paninis, club sandwiches and wraps. Keke’s serves only fresh, “made to order” meals with quality ingredients. “All of our menu items are prepared fresh when ordered. Our produce, dairy and breads are delivered to our stores daily.”
The ambiance at Keke’s is sleek and fresh. The décor is modern and simple with comfortable seating. Keke’s strives to provide great service on every visit; the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
Keke’s first location opened in Orlando near the Mall at Millenia in 2006. The location in West Melbourne opened in September of last year and plans are already underway to open a second location in the area in late 2014.
“Like most or our franchise partners, we do not come from a restaurant background,” Becky explained. “We are a collection of business people that have a passionate interest in providing quality meals and great service.”
