Springtime in Paris

The Health First Foundation will host its 28th Annual Benefit Ball, on April 17 at Florida Tech’s Clemente Center. This year’s theme is “Springtime in Paris:  A Stroll Down the Champs Elysées.” Guests attending this black-tie affair will enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, and entertainment while raising funds for a permanent home for the Bright Star Program, which provides grief support for children who’ve lost a loved one.

Gail Beagley of Merritt Island is serving as chairman of this year’s Ball Committee and Kimberly Meehan Agee is serving as Underwriting Chair. Sponsorships start at $1,000.

Ball proceeds will help renovate and provide a permanent home for the Bright Star Center. A program of Hospice of Health First, Bright Star is currently located in leased space in downtown Melbourne.  Additionally, a new location will provide individual areas for the grief support program: a positive play area, an arts and craft area, a peer group sharing room, a kitchen and eating area, a parent group meeting room, a room for volunteer training and private family sessions with Bright Star staff, and administrative offices. Tickets are $225.
