Free Health Lecture on March 10 in Viera

Cynthia J. Bryant, MD, a Radiation Oncologist with Space Coast Cancer Center, will be the speaker for a free lecture on Cancer and the Advances in Radiation Therapy. The presentation will be on Thursday, March 10 from 10:30 am to noon at One Senior Place, 8085 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, FL 32940. A complimentary lunch will be provided following the event. Dr. Bryant received her MD degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her five-year residency in Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and accepted a faculty position at Emory following completion of her residency. She is trained and knowledgeable in the use of the state-of-the-art radiation therapy Linac, the Varian Trilogy. The Trilogy delivers precise radiation therapy treatment, maximally avoiding normal tissues, to improve the opportunity for patients to receive the most effective and safest therapy. Dr. Bryant is also proficient in radioactive prostate seed implantation. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College of Radiology and the American Brachytherapy Society.
