Central Florida Winds will be performing with a new musical partner on September 25 and October 9, the organ! Three of the works scheduled for this concert will include organ performed by Tom Taylor. Mr. Taylor is the organist for Suntree United Methodist Church. Works to be performed which include organ are “Enigma Variations” by Elgar, Weinberger’s “Polka and Fugue”, and Saint Saens’ “Organ Symphony” or “Symphony No. 3.”
Also on this program is a spectacular work for winds, “Festival Variations”, by Claude T. Smith.
This concert is free and is made possible through the support of many donors and through the volunteer participation of professional and semi-professional musicians from throughout Florida.
