Generous fairways mix with contoured greens and ample water hazards, and impressive views of the World Golf Hall of Fame are available throughout the course. The facility hosted the Champions Tour’s Liberty Mutual Legends, and numerous other high-profile events and tournaments.
This season the clubhouse will debut a new look. Clubhouse designer Tom Hoch and owner/operator Honours Golf have revealed a totally renovated and reenergized space, just in time to welcome golfers for the prime season. The Hoch team revitalized the 8,000-square-foot space by designing and building furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Using a classic theme rooted in traditional, “Grand Floridian” architecture and design, the remodel includes a social bar anchoring a new, authentic 19th Hole pub experience. The space is refurnished with bar height gathering tables, and comfortable lounge and dining furniture conveying a comfortable, casual and inspirational “club” feel.
Golf historians might notice the accessory enhancements to the clubhouse that build upon the rich history and character of legendary Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. New contemporary art was brought into the design to reflect the namesakes’ timeless influence on today’s golfer. The men’s and women’s locker rooms have been refreshed, as well as the golf shop, stocked with clubs, apparel and more. Upgrades to the outdoor terrace area offer an inviting place for players to mingle post-round, or to simply take in the sunshine over lunch.
