Discover . . . A Space Coast Lifestyle
The New Year is a gorgeous time on the Space Coast. While others are bundling up to face harsh conditions outside, we’re still enjoying mild temperatures, beach days and occasionally a “cold” snap. That’s why in this month’s magazine we’ve included our annual issue of “Discover the SpaceCoast,” a publication dedicated to impressing new residents and long-time locals about our community and all it has to offer. This publication is sent all over the country and is available to visitors from all over the world so they may discover why the Space Coast is a place like no other. Read Discover the SpaceCoast starting on page 31.
The New Year symbolizes a new start and a time to reflect on what we’d like to improve about ourselves. If that’s you, we have you covered this month “New Year, New You” on page 24.
If you haven’t already had the opportunity to meet Brevard Public Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Desmond Blackburn, you’ll want to turn to “Selfies With the Superintendent” on page 22. Since his start in July of last year, he has become known for taking selfies and his immediate engagement in the community. With 82 schools, 20 special centers, and 10 charter schools in the district, it is no doubt that he remains busy as he strives to take Brevard Public Schools to the next level.
Take the time to learn something new about our area this month, make your own discovery and explore new reasons why you love to live, work and play here on the Space Coast.
All the Best,
Rebecca Shireman, senior editor
