Brevard County residents, it is time to become inspired. The Art Gallery of Viera has opened its doors to the residents of Brevard, and is ready to serve as a creative outlet for those of us with imagination ready to soar.
When looking at the experience of the founding members, it is easy to see how the Art Gallery of Viera is a place for mentorship and a source of passion. “The mission in opening was to provide the finest art gallery and educational center in central Florida that will inspire, instruct, and promote art to the individual and the community” explains founding artist Lou Ann Weeks, and the Art Gallery of Viera is well on its way. The gallery is currently running kids, teens, and adult classes that range from instruction in jewelry making to oil and acrylic painting. 
The Art Gallery of Viera may just be starting out, but a full year of artistic and cultural events are already on the easel. The gallery will “be partnering with some of Brevard’s finest artists and cultural organizations to bring a high level of awareness to our community.” The gallery currently features over 30 artists, and many of them are from right here in Brevard. “Art Gallery of Viera offers fine art and educational opportunities from the most talented, versatile group of artists in Brevard” Weeks says. The gallery is not only an inspiration for Brevard, but a source to keep local artists in business, and give back to the place we call home.
